Jared Speaks

Jared Speaks, CFE has a diverse work experience in accounting and finance. Jared currently holds the position of Director of Studio Operations Accounting at Tyler Perry Studios since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Manager of Accounting at the same company from March 2019 to July 2022. Before joining Tyler Perry Studios, Jared worked at IDI Gazeley as an Accounting Manager, where they supervised and reviewed the work of senior and staff accountants. Jared also handled reporting requirements for joint ventures and development properties. Prior to their role at IDI Gazeley, Jared worked as a Senior Development Accountant for the company from April 2011 to June 2015. In 2009, they held the position of Staff Accountant at Wendy's/Arby's Group, Inc. Before that, Jared worked as a Development Staff Accountant at Place Properties from January 2008 to January 2009. Jared started their career as a Staff Accountant Intern at BBB Service Company, Inc. in 2007, where they gained experience in the restaurant industry. Throughout their career, Jared has demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, accounting principles and procedures, and external audit coordination.

Jared Speaks, CFE, has a comprehensive education background in the field of Accounting. From 2003 to 2007, Jared attended Georgia Southern University, where they earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Jared'smajor focus during this time was Accounting.

After a brief break, Jared pursued their higher education at the University of Phoenix from 2009 to 2010. Jared successfully completed their Master's degree in Accounting during this period.

In addition to their academic achievements, Jared also holds a certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), which they obtained in December 2012. This certification was granted by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
