Robert A. Boyd II

Robert A. Boyd, II is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Tyler Perry Studios since January 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of COO at Swirl Films from April 2020 to January 2022. From February 2018 to April 2020, they worked as a Senior Vice President, Programming Operations at BET Networks. Before that, they had various roles at Paramount Pictures including Senior Vice President, Production Sales & Studio Operations from July 2014 to February 2018, VP of Global Operations, National Accounts from November 2012 to July 2014, and Vice President Southern Operations from May 2012 to November 2012. Their career with BET Networks began in 2003, where they worked as the Sr. Director of Physical Production until May 2012.

Robert A. Boyd, II obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Morehouse College from 1988 to 1992. Later, they pursued their J.D. degree at the Florida State University College of Law from 1992 to 1995.
