Chris Becker

Chris Becker is an accomplished professional with a solid background in finance and technology. Currently serving as the Managing Executive for Enterprise Payments at TymeBank since September 2022, and as a Partner at Etherbridge since October 2022, Chris brings a wealth of experience from previous roles including Blockchain Technologies Lead at Investec, where a dedicated crypto asset and blockchain business development team was established. Significant achievements at Investec include the development of South Africa's first crypto asset custodial wallet, recognized in the IFWG Regulatory Sandbox. Chris has also served as Lead Economist and Strategist at African Alliance, Macro Strategist at ETM Analytics, and Economist roles at NKC African Economics and Ulster Bank. Educational credentials include studies at Stellenbosch University, Kingswood College, and Rondebosch Boys High School.
