Juan Pablo Stocca

Juan Pablo Stocca has extensive work experience in the field of data science and artificial intelligence. Juan Pablo began their career in 2009 as a Consumer Experience Analyst at Motorola Mobility, where they were responsible for web scraping, data warehousing, and sentiment analysis. In 2013, they held a Research Engineer position at Inria and a Data Mining Intern position at Technicolor. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Data Scientist at Big Data Partnership, where they delivered training courses, conducted deep learning and machine learning, and consulted on big data science. Juan Pablo then worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Teradata from 2016 to 2018, followed by a Senior Data Scientist role at Barclays from 2018 to 2020. Most recently, they have been the Head of Artificial Intelligence and a Machine Learning Engineer at Tympa Health Technologies Ltd since 2020.

Juan Pablo Stocca obtained an Engineer's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires between 2004 and 2009. Juan Pablo then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Data Mining from the Universitè Lumière Lyon 2 / Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale Amedeo Avogadro between 2011 and 2013. In 2014, they obtained a Machine Learning Certificate from Coursera and two Apache Hadoop Certificates from Hortonworks. In 2017, Juan Pablo obtained nine Coursera Course Certificates in topics such as Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, and Improving Deep Neural Networks. In 2018, they obtained three Coursera Course Certificates in Linear Regression and Modeling, Applied Social Network Analysis in Python, and Inferential Statistics. In 2020, Juan Pablo obtained four additional Coursera Course Certificates in Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, and a Docker Master Certificate from Udemy.
