W. Jerry Liao

W. Jerry Liao has a strong background in engineering and software development. W. Jerry currently works as a Principal Engineer at Tymphany, where they specialize in IQ tuning for conferencing camera with Qualcomm spectra ISP & Chromatix. W. Jerry is responsible for tuning and managing video certification projects for Zoom, MS Teams, and Google Meets, as well as providing support for production IQ tests.

Prior to Tymphany, Liao worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Getac from 2017 to 2021. W. Jerry held the role of Principal Engineer at HTC from 2013 to 2015 and worked as a Senior Engineer at Messoa Technology Inc. from 2011 to 2013. Earlier in their career, Liao served as a Member of Research Staff at Ambarella in 2009 and as a Senior Engineer at Primax from 2004 to 2009.

Jerry Liao obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Taipei University of Technology from 1998 to 2002. W. Jerry then pursued a Master's degree in Image/video processing at the same institution from 2002 to 2004.
