KC Chickalusion

KC Chickalusion is the Director at Tyonek. They have over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. KC has a degree in accounting and spent the early part of their career in various accounting roles. In 2017, they made the switch to business development and worked for Cook Inlet Region, Inc. and then Caridas Investments. In 2014, they completed a real estate internship where they implemented an entire wholesale real estate practice.

KC joined Peak Oilfield Service Company in 2010 as a roustabout. In this role, they coordinated support for ConocoPhillips drill site operations and had a thorough knowledge of drilling operations and equipment from exploration to production. They also acted as a liaison between Baker Hughes and ConocoPhillips contractors for fracing operations. In 2012, they were promoted to Expediting Manager at Tyonek Contractors where they spent the next 5 years.

In 2018, KC returned to the accounting world when they took a position at Cook Inlet Tribal Council, Inc. as an accountant. They spent 2 years in this role before taking their current position as Director at Tyonek in 2020.

KC Chickalusion studied entrepreneurship and finance at the University of Houston, earning a bachelor's degree in both fields. They also minor in accounting from the same school.
