Christopher Peguero is a seasoned expert in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Community Engagement at Type One Energy Group, Christopher collaborates with human resources and leadership to integrate comprehensive DEI strategies into the organizational culture. Previous roles include DEI Consultant at Step Up: Equity Matters and National DEI Consultant at In Lak' Ech Consulting. As a Global DEI Program Manager at Promega Corporation, Christopher managed initiatives aimed at creating an equitable workplace and establishing strategic community partnerships. Furthermore, as Owner of Environmental Equity Consultants, Christopher addressed disparities in environmental organizations impacting marginalized communities. Additional notable positions include Assistant Superintendent of Madison Parks and Environmental Equity Manager at Seattle City Light, where Christopher advocated for environmental justice and equitable community engagement. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
