Ian Lord

Ian Lord has a diverse work experience in the fields of design and architecture. Ian started their professional career as an intern at Michael Graves & Associates in September 2001. After completing their internship, Ian worked as a Graphic Designer at the Michael Graves Design Group, where they were responsible for developing the joint corporate website for the architecture and design firms of Michael Graves & Associates and Michael Graves Design Group. This position was full-time during summers and part-time during the academic year. In 2008, Ian briefly worked as a Digital Designer at Richard Meier & Partners before joining Kohn Pedersen Fox as a Graphic Designer in June 2009. At Kohn Pedersen Fox, they worked until February 2011. Ian's most recent role is as a Partner + Creative Director at Type/Code since January 2011.

Ian Lord attended Princeton University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (AB) degree in Psychology. Following their time at Princeton, Ian went on to study at Parsons School of Design - The New School from 2009 to 2010, specializing in Design + Technology.
