Christian de Sousa Garces

Christian De Sousa Garces is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and team management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Typeform since June 2025, Christian previously held the position of Senior Software Engineering Manager and EMEA Leader at Qualtrics from June 2022 to May 2025. Prior to this, Christian progressed through various roles at Qualtrics, including Senior Software Engineering Manager and Software Engineering Manager from January 2016 to January 2022. Christian's career began at Amazon, where roles included Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, spanning from April 2010 to December 2015. Other professional experiences include positions at Texas School Safety Center and Mega Soft. Christian holds a Master’s in Software Engineering from Texas State University and a Computer Engineering degree from Universidad Simón Bolívar, complemented by a CCNA certification from Cisco Networking Academy.
