Tom Okada

Tom Okada is a seasoned professional in the fields of power electronics and business development, currently serving as General Manager of Typhoon HIL Japan since August 2025, where the focus is on advanced Test and Quality Assurance solutions. With a strong background in leadership roles, Tom co-founded Silicon Valley Alliances in January 2015, aiming to enhance management practices. Previous accomplishments include serving as Country Manager for WiTricity Japan KK, driving EV wireless charging adoption, and holding the position of Vice President of Business Development at WiTricity, where successful IP and technology licensing were achieved. Tom has also provided strategic insights on advisory boards and held executive roles at various technology firms, beginning with a degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University.
