Jan Lindblad

Jan Lindblad is an experienced environmental consultant and ecologist currently working at Tyréns AB since May 2023, focusing on optimizing natural resources and land management with an emphasis on biodiversity. Prior experience includes working at Ramboll from March 2021 to April 2023 on contaminated site projects and environmental permissions, and serving as a field inspector at Länsstyrelsen Västerbotten, where agricultural practices were monitored in accordance with EU policies and Swedish environmental laws. Jan also contributed as a research assistant at SLU - Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet from April 2016 to March 2020, engaging in studies related to forest management and climate change. A notable achievement includes receiving awards for the master's thesis on conservation measures in forestry while completing studies at SLU from 2013 to 2019 with a Master in Forestry. Additional education includes environmental sampling coursework and studies at the University of Northern British Columbia in forestry and environmental science.
