Jeremy Sanderson has a wealth of work experience spanning over two decades. Jeremy started their career in 1998 as the Coordinator of International Relations for the Saitama Prefectural Board of Education. In 2000, they joined Asia Net KK as an Account Executive and Marketing Coordinator, where they were responsible for new business development, online recruitment advertising sales, and solution sales. In 2001, they joined Wall Street Associates as the Director and Chief Operating Officer, where they drove change and growth initiatives based on "work-out" methodology. In 2005, they founded Sanderson Icon Ltd, a trading and management services company based in Tokyo. In 2010, they incorporated Compass Offices Japan and grew the business to become one of the most profitable businesses in the Compass portfolio. Jeremy then joined Alexander Mann Solutions as the Representative Director for Japan in 2010. In 2016, they became the CEO of TYRI Japan KK, an industry leader in off highway lighting. In 2019, they joined Sabik Offshore as the Japan Representative and in the same year, they became the Chairman and CEO of Icon Partners KK, a highly focused Supply Chain Management specialist executive recruitment company.

Jeremy Sanderson's education history includes a Japanese BA (Hons) from the London University School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Lincoln College of Technology in Lincoln UK from 1978 to 1980. Jeremy also attended Pocklington from 1975 to 1978. Additionally, they obtained a Japan Small Boat Operators License, Level 1 from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Travel and Tourism, Coast Guard of Japan.
