Stephen Sjöstedt

Project Manager at TYRI

Stephen Sjöstedt has over two decades of work experience. Stephen began their career in 2000 as the Owner and Project Manager at Wintec Development, where they worked on product development projects for clients such as KG Knutsson, Hella Automotive, Volvo LV/Volvo 3P, Volvo PV, Autoliv and Skrovab AB. In 2005, they took on a role as Resident Engineer for both Volvo Car Group and KGK. At Volvo Car Group, they worked on new development and trimming of rear lighting for V70, XC70, S80 and XC90, while at KGK they were a Resident Engineer. In 2006, they took on a role as Resident Engineer and Constructor for Volvo Trucks, where they worked on the development of a new plastic shield to protect the FCIOM in front of the wheelhouse. Stephen also worked for Elator AB as a Constructor/Constructor Leader from 2008-2011, and during this time they also worked as a Task Leader for VLM - Special Products at Volvo Car Corporation, where they were responsible for exterior, interior and chassis projects. Finally, from 2011-2016, they were a Project Manager at TYRI Lights, where they developed work lights mainly used for duty vehicles and worked on special light solutions with customers.

Stephen Sjöstedt attended Fässbergs Gymnasium from 1985 to 1988, where they obtained their degree in 1988. Stephen then attended Chalmers University of Technology from 1990 to 1995, studying Maskinteknik.
