Edwin Kwan

Edwin Kwan is a contributing journalist at It's the 5:05! Podcast since October 2022. Previously, Edwin worked at Tyro Payments where Edwin contributed significantly as the Head of Cyber Security Advisory and Application Security, ensuring the safety and security of the company's systems and information assets. Edwin also played a crucial role in transitioning Tyro to a full merchant bank holding an unrestricted license by enhancing security controls. Prior to their time at Tyro, Edwin was a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer at United Divers, showcasing their passion for scuba diving and underwater photography. Additionally, Edwin worked as a Software Engineer at TeleCommunication Systems, Inc., where Edwin developed wireless location solutions. Edwin holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Kinesiology from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Wollongong.
