Melissa Jo Burchett Basham

Melissa Jo Burchett Basham has extensive experience in food safety and quality assurance, currently serving as a Supervisor at Tyson Foods since August 2014, following the company's acquisition of Hillshire Brands, where Melissa Jo Burchett held the same title since January 2003. Prior to this, Melissa worked as a Farm Secretary and Equine Specialist at Ben-D Farm from January 1990 to January 2003 and as a Veterinary Technician at Linworth Animal Hospital from September 1987 to December 1988. Melissa holds a degree in Applied Science and Technology, specializing in Agriculture and Animal Science, from Morehead State University, earned between 1979 and 1985.
