Rusty Courson

Rusty Courson is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in corporate finance and accounting policy development. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Corporate Accounting at Tyson Foods since December 2018, Rusty's responsibilities include overseeing payroll, relocation, time, and attendance processes, as well as enablement finance and report automation. Prior to Tyson Foods, Rusty held various roles at Murphy Oil Corporation from September 2002 to February 2018, including Assistant Controller and Director of Accounting Policy, focusing on accounting research, internal controls, and IFRS assessment. Rusty holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and both a BBA in Accounting and a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, along with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the same institution.
