Mia Edie has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Mia is currently working as a Creative Producer at U DOX since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at NICCE from December 2021 to April 2022 as a Creative Production Manager. Mia also held the roles of Creative Production Coordinator from June 2020 to December 2021 and Creative Production Assistant from June 2019 to June 2020 at NICCE.
Before joining NICCE, Mia worked as a Freelance Digital & Print Stylist at Next Management from September 2016 to June 2019, where they were responsible for styling in the studio and on location for online and in-store imagery. Mia also worked as a Freelance Production Assistant at Lindsey Hunt Fashion Show & Event Productions from September 2016 to June 2019, supporting the head producer on various events and shoots.
Additionally, Mia has experience as a Freelance Customer/Wardrobe Stylist/Writer, working with clients such as Oasis, Warehouse, Next, and Long Tall Sally. Mia was responsible for prepping and shooting clothing and accessories for eCommerce sets. Mia held this freelance role from June 2016 to June 2019.
Mia also has experience in retail, having worked as a Keyholder at Fred Perry from October 2018 to May 2019 and as an Assistant Manager at Australian Designer Morrison from October 2017 to December 2017. In the latter role, they took on managerial duties during the manager's leave.
Furthermore, Mia has experience in the fashion industry, having worked as a Freelance Content Creator for J.W. Anderson in October to December 2018, producing stills and film for the brand's social media platforms. Mia also worked as a Freelance Fashion Assistant for Teagan Sewell from March to May 2018.
Lastly, Mia gained experience in event management as a Collections Manager at Telstra Perth Fashion Festival in August to September 2017. Mia'sresponsibilities included managing garment and accessory schedules, coordinating sample movement, and liaising with project managers.
Mia Edie's education history begins in 2006 when they attended Blackfen School for Girls. Mia completed their GCSEs at this school, achieving grades A-C, including English Language (A), Maths (B), and Science (B). From 2011 to 2013, Mia attended Blackfen School for Girls: Sixth Form, where they pursued their A-Level education. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Central Lancashire in 2013 and completed their Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Fashion Promotion with Styling in 2016.
