Dr. Clemens Chaskel

Dr. Clemens Chaskel has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries and roles. Dr. Clemens is currently serving as the Co-Founder and CTO of u impact | impact4good GmbH, a FinTech start-up focused on impact investing. Prior to this, they worked at the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM), University of Cambridge, where they held roles such as Industrial Associate and Senior Industrial Fellow, providing strategic planning and technology management advice to manufacturers of all sizes. Dr. Clemens also served as a Lecturer at the Steinbeis School of Management and Innovation and conducted doctoral research at the University of Cambridge, IfM, specializing in strategic technology management. Earlier in their career, they took on leadership positions at Altran GmbH & Co. KG, where they were responsible for coordinating various competence centers and leading consulting projects in Aerospace & Defense and Automotive sectors. Dr. Clemens began their career at Rolls-Royce, focusing on product change control and requirements management.

Dr. Clemens Chaskel has an extensive education history. Dr. Clemens obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Technology Management and Strategy from the University of Cambridge, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) degree in Industrial Systems, Manufacture and Management (ISMM/ACDMM) at the University of Cambridge, studying from 2006 to 2007. Dr. Chaskel also holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Aerospace Engineering from Kingston University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their degrees, Dr. Chaskel has obtained several certifications. Dr. Clemens is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) through the Engineering Council, which they achieved in November 2014. Dr. Clemens also holds a PRINCE 2 Registered Practitioner certification from APMG-International, which they obtained in September 2012. Furthermore, they are a member (MRAeS) of the Royal Aeronautical Society, although the exact date of their membership is not specified.
