Karen Sphar

Karen Sphar is an experienced professional currently serving as an In-Field Representative at UMWA Health and Retirement Funds since June 2023. With a background in real estate as a Licensed Realtor since March 2019, Karen has also held various roles in community outreach, program management, and education. Previous positions include Community Outreach Liaison at Washington County Department of Human Services, Manager of Allocations & Programs at Washington County Community Foundation, and Center Director at Mt. Lebanon Extended Day Program. Karen's earlier experience includes roles at PAKEY as a Community Innovation Zone Specialist, as well as administrative support at Presbyterian Senior Care and supervision at Community Action Southwest. Educated at PennWest California with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, Karen's diverse skill set includes program development, training, compliance monitoring, and community engagement.
