Laura Alcantara is an experienced professional with a background in both finance and marketing. Currently serving as an Audit Analyst and Credit Card Specialist at U of I Community Credit Union since October 2015, Laura manages daily tasks for VISA debit and credit as well as processing and operations for the credit union. Prior experience includes a role as Lead Teller, providing member services, and various positions in social media coordination and administration at Defy Gravity and Dallas & Company. Laura’s career began in retail and customer service, holding positions at The Bon Ton Stores Inc. and The Limited, complemented by a solid educational foundation with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
