Joan-Andreu Rocha Scarpetta

Joan-Andreu Rocha Scarpetta is an accomplished academic and administrator with extensive experience in higher education and social work. Currently serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Social Education and Social Work at Universitat Ramon Llull since February 2017, Joan-Andreu is also a member of the Board of Directors at Fundacio Pere Tarres and holds the position of Vice Dean of Research and International Relations at the Facultat d'Educació Social i Treball Social Pere Tarrés - URL. Additionally, Joan-Andreu contributes to the Advisory Council for Religious Diversity of the Generalitat de Catalunya and has been a visiting lecturer at several prestigious institutions, including the University of Tehran, Pontifical Gregorian University, and European University of Rome. Previous roles include Vice Dean of Journalism Studies at Universitat Abat Oliba CEU and Head of the Communication Department at Abadia de Montserrat.
