PHD Candidate at University Ramon Llull

Jordi Malé Carbonell is a Computer Vision Scientist at SPAICE since January 2025 and a PhD Candidate at Universitat Ramon Llull since June 2023, focusing on Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Medical Image Analysis. Current research includes the BeGiN Project, aimed at enhancing the diagnosis of psychotic disorders through novel phenomics and machine learning methods, alongside exploring techniques like Diffusion Models and Vision Transformers in the realm of medical imaging. Jordi has been recognized for outstanding research potential with the Joan Oro grant and has extensive teaching experience as a Computer Science Lecturer at La Salle BCN, where courses include Object-oriented Programming & Design and Operating Systems, as well as serving as an Assistant Teacher for various subjects. Jordi holds a PhD in 3D Computer Vision, a Master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Systems Engineering.
