Ernesto Martinez

Ernesto Martinez is a seasoned procurement executive currently serving as the Senior Procurement Executive and Director for the Office of Contracts at the United States Agency for Global Media since April 2023. In this role, Ernesto oversees all acquisition operations for USAGM, including the Voice of America and Office of Cuba Broadcasting, along with managing more than 50 news bureaus and regional offices worldwide, all aimed at supporting freedom and democracy. Prior to this position, Ernesto was the Deputy Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer for the Office of Travel, Employee Relocation and Transportation at the GSA from January 2016 to March 2023, managing a team of 112 employees with an operating budget of $11.2 million. Ernesto holds a Master of Business Administration from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Park University.
