Christopher Button, Ph.D., ABPP, is currently the DAF Suicide Prevention Program Manager, bringing extensive experience in mental health leadership within the United States Air Force. They served in various roles, including Mental Health Flight Commander and Chief of Psychological Services, and contributed to research and program development as an AF Suicide Prevention Research Scientist. Prior to their military career, they held the position of Residence Hall Director at Central College and worked as a Research Assistant at ACT. Christopher holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Exercise Science from Central College and earned a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Iowa. Currently, they are pursuing additional education at the USAF Air War College, the USAF Squadron Officer School, and the USAF Air Command and Staff College.
