Dusty Surber

Dusty Surber is an experienced professional in the United States Air Force, serving as the 461 ACW Inspector General and Inspections Coordinator since August 2007. In this role, Dusty leads a team of Self Assessment Program Managers across multiple units, ensuring compliance with governing regulations. Previous roles include Senior Enlisted Leader for E-8C JSTARS flight deck operators, leading and mentoring 149 personnel, and managing C2ISR operations as SEL for 225 members. Dusty has extensive experience in flight operations, maintenance, and support, having overseen multiple aircraft programs and readiness initiatives. Dusty's educational background includes certifications in Inspector General Training, Aircraft Mishap Investigation, and Lean Six Sigma, along with degrees in Professional Aeronautics and Aviation/Airway Management.
