Joseph Daly has extensive work experience in the aviation and insurance industry. Joseph is currently the Vice President and Products Underwriting Division Manager at U.S. Aviation Underwriters, Inc. since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at AIG from 2014 to 2022, starting as a Senior Underwriter and later becoming a Regional Product Specialist. Joseph also served as an Adjunct Professor at Dowling College from 2014 to 2016. Joseph's earlier experience includes working as a General Aviation Insurance Underwriter at U.S. Aviation Underwriters, Inc. from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, they worked as an Airshow Pilot at Rhinebeck Aerodrome Museum from 2001 to 2011, where they demonstrated flight control and unique maneuvers with vintage aircraft, ensuring safe operations and managing ground crew activities.
Joseph Daly's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from Dowling College. Joseph also pursued a Masters of Business Administration degree in Business and Leadership Skills from the same institution. Additionally, Joseph has obtained several certifications including an Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI) certification from the Federal Aviation Administration, a Commercial Pilot - Airplane Single & Multi-Engine Land, Instrument Airplane certification from the FAA, and an Insurance Broker, Property & Casualty certification from the New York State Department of Financial Services.
