Phurba S. Sherpa has extensive experience in the accounting field, currently serving as Assistant Vice President at U.S. Aviation Underwriters, Inc. since April 2015, with previous roles including Financial Accountant, AP/AR Specialist, and Reconciliation Accountant. Earlier positions include Accounting Assistant at Signature Theatre Company and A/P Coordinator at Tribal Worldwide, as well as a Tax Associate at H&R Block. Additional experience encompasses a Staff Accountant role at the Town of Jonesboro - City Hall and various positions at Grambling State University, where involvement included VITA Super-user and Academic Development Committee Chair. Phurba holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Hunter College and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Grambling State University.
