Devin Dotson

Devin Dotson is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media and public affairs. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Specialist at the U.S. Botanic Garden since February 2015, Devin has also held the position of Public Affairs Specialist there. Since June 1998, Devin has been a staff writer for The Red Bay News, contributing a weekly column titled "40 Years Ago" while engaging in various editorial roles. Prior experience includes serving as Associate Director of Communications at American Rivers, where Devin led multiple publication projects and digital initiatives. Additional roles span internships and positions at Oceana, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, and Natural Capitalism Solutions. Educational accomplishments include a Master’s degree in Latin American Studies with an emphasis on International Communications from the University of Florida, alongside dual undergraduate degrees in Agricultural Communications and Spanish from Auburn University.
