As senior vice president of marketing, Jay Spenchian is responsible for the development of strategic branding and communications initiatives that drive customer growth and loyalty, while optimizing our products, services and offerings to provide the world's best customer experience for individuals, families and businesses. The brand marketing, device strategy and management, product and innovation, and acquisition and retention teams report to Jay.

Spenchian has more than 30 years of marketing experience, and he most recently served as executive vice president and global chief marketing officer at Tempur Sealy International in Lexington, Ky. Prior to that he was the executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Olive Garden, and he previously held marketing and management positions at Red Lobster, General Motors, The Pillsbury Company, Sara Lee Corporation, H.J. Heinz Company and Pepsico.

Spenchian earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in marketing management from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich. He is also on the board of Mariners Inn, a shelter and treatment center for the homeless in Detroit. Jay and his wife, Nancy, have three adult children and will be residing in the Chicagoland area
