Scott Penry is a seasoned Data Network Engineer with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as a Sr. Data Network Engineer at UScellular since March 2015. In this role, Scott is responsible for the research, design, and troubleshooting of a complex data transport network comprised of approximately 8000 routers and switches from Cisco, Nokia, and Ericsson. Prior to UScellular, Scott held positions at Alcatel-Lucent as a Data Network Engineer and 4G LTE Performance Engineer, where responsibilities included LTE optimization and performance analysis for a Tier 1 US Cellular operator network. Additionally, Scott has a notable history with Motorola Inc. and Nokia Siemens Networks, focusing on network deployments, CDMA architecture, and Ethernet Backhaul planning. Scott holds a B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from DeVry University and has received a retention award for outstanding performance at UScellular.
