Rishi Gupta is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in regulatory enforcement and prosecution. Since September 2010, Rishi Gupta has held the position of Senior Trial Attorney in the Division of Enforcement at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, where responsibilities include leading investigations into various forms of market misconduct, such as fraud, misappropriation, and insider trading, as well as drafting enforcement actions and settlement documents. Rishi Gupta also served as Interim Senior Counsel to Commissioner Kristin N. Johnson. Prior experience includes a role as an Attorney for the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission and as an Assistant District Attorney at the Middlesex District Attorney's Office. Rishi Gupta's educational background comprises a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University Law Center, a Juris Doctor (JD) from Suffolk University Law School, and a Bachelor's Degree from Boston College.
