Edgardo Aviles

Edgardo Aviles, CPA, CGFM, currently serves as the Director of the Finance and Accounting Division at U.S. Customs and Border Protection, where responsibilities include overseeing financial operations for the largest law enforcement agency within the US Department of Homeland Security, managing a portfolio that encompasses over 160 staff and contractors, and handling over $16 billion in payments. Edgardo's extensive career spans more than three decades in both government and military roles, including various leadership positions in the US Army, where the title of Colonel in the Finance Corps was held. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico and multiple advanced degrees and certifications in leadership, military operations, logistics, and public affairs from prestigious institutions.
