Vice President, Sustainable Nutrition at U.S. Dairy Export Council

Janice Giddens, MS, RDN has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Janice is currently the Vice President of Sustainable Nutrition at the U.S. Dairy Export Council. Prior to this, they worked at the National Dairy Council as the Vice President of Sustainable Nutrition Affairs and the Director of Health and Wellness Partnerships. Janice also participated in the Emerging Leaders Program at The Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Janice has experience as a Senior Nutrition Technical Advisor at Gardens for Health International and as a Nutrition and Wellness Program Manager at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Janice served as the Public Policy Coordinator at The Georgia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and as the Food Security Manager at the Clarkston Community Center. Janice was also a Community Gardens Consultant for the City of Clarkston. Additionally, they have worked as a Sustainable Agriculture Apprentice at Jenny Jack Sun Farm and as a Clinical Dietitian Consultant at Calhoun Nursing Home.

Janice Giddens earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Consumer Foods from the University of Georgia between 1999 and 2005. During that time, they also completed a Certificate of Training in International Agriculture. Janice furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition from Mississippi State University between 2005 and 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Janice Giddens holds additional certifications. In December 2014, they obtained the ServSafe Food Protection Management Certification from the National Restaurant Association. Janice is also a Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the state of Georgia and a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
