Iryna Goraichuk, Ph.D., is a highly skilled scientist and research microbiologist with extensive experience in molecular techniques and viral detection. Currently employed at USDA as a Scientist, Iryna leads projects focused on advanced molecular methodologies and high-throughput sequencing for viral characterization, significantly enhancing sequencing capabilities. Previous roles include serving as a Genomic Data Specialist at APHL, where Iryna led SARS-CoV-2 genomics efforts, and as a postdoctoral scientist at USDA, optimizing viral detection methods.
