Kate Zook

Kate Zook is an experienced professional in environmental policy and management, currently serving as the Deputy Director for Climate Change and Environmental Markets at the USDA since June 2012, and previously held the role of Senior Program Analyst in the Office of Energy and Environmental Policy. Zook also worked as a Communications Coordinator at the Office of Management and Budget and served as a Budget Examiner on detail. Additional experience includes a position as a Water Policy Analyst at the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions and a Watershed Economics Project Team Researcher at ICRISAT. Zook's educational background includes a Masters of Environmental Management with a focus on Economics and Policy from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management from the University of Delaware.
