Michell Long

Michell Long possesses extensive experience in managerial and leadership roles, currently serving as Chief of Staff and Facility Manager at the USDA since February 2014. Prior to this role, Michell held the position of Facility Manager at Florida State College--Jacksonville from September 2011 to January 2014 and worked as Program Manager for Project SOS from September 2008 to June 2011. Michell's career began in the United States Air Force, where significant responsibilities included roles as a Medical Service Corps Officer and Air Traffic Controller from July 1987 to October 2006. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Troy University and two Bachelor's degrees, one in Computer and Information Sciences from Friends University and another in Apparel and Textile Marketing Management from North Carolina State University.
