Patrick Zimet has a diverse work experience that spans various sectors. Patrick currently works at the U.S. Department of Commerce as a Team Lead (Acting) for the Risk, Insurance, and Professional Services Team. Prior to this role, they were an International Trade Specialist at the same organization.
Before joining the U.S. Department of Commerce, Patrick worked as a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. Patrick also gained experience as a Fellow at The Cohen Group and as a Graduate Intern at the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Patrick Zimet earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science in Foreign Service degree at Georgetown University, completing it from 2016 to 2018.
