Richard Krasner is a highly experienced professional in the fields of geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), atmospheric science, and space systems. Currently serving as a Senior Satellite Analyst at the U.S. Department of Commerce since January 2010, Richard oversees various Commerce agencies, including NOAA's environmental satellite programs. Prior roles include Senior Intelligence Analyst at Applied Systems Research, where assistance was provided to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, and Senior ISR Analyst at Booz Allen Hamilton, focusing on GEOINT, MASINT, and METOC programs for the Joint Staff. Richard’s military background includes 20 years with the United States Air Force, culminating in the role of Deputy Director, Integration Branch, Space Superiority Division. Richard holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering/Reliability Engineering from the University of Maryland, a Master’s in Atmospheric Science from Colorado State University, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Physics and Meteorology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
