Anil H.

Anil H. is an experienced professional currently serving as the Acting Deputy Director of the Office of Educational Technology and Chief of Staff for the Office of Planning, Evaluation, and Policy Development at the U.S. Department of Education since January 2024. Previous positions include Adjunct Instructor at the University of Southern California, a Research Fellow for the Institutional Antiracism and Accountability Project at Harvard Kennedy School, Senior Vice President of Community Impact at the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation, and Lead Designer and Coach for a course on race, racism, and colonialism at Harvard Kennedy School. Anil has also contributed as an Adjunct Lecturer at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, staff member of the Education Subcommittee for the City of Boston's Mayor Kim Janey Transition Committee, and has experience as a Graduate Research Assistant. Anil H. holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, an MBA from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and American History from Northwestern University.
