Arthur Wyatt is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in narcotics and transnational organized crime. Currently serving as Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General for Narcotics and Transnational Organized Crime at the U.S. Department of Justice since August 2010, Wyatt acts as the principal liaison between the DOJ and interagency bodies on TOC issues while managing various related programs. Previously, Wyatt held the position of Chief of the Narcotic and Dangerous Drug Section, overseeing 36 federal prosecutors dealing with high-stakes international narcotics trafficking and complex investigations. Wyatt's earlier roles included Deputy Chief in the Narcotics Section at the United States Attorney's Office and a Resident Legal Advisor in Colombia, where Wyatt contributed to significant legal transitions in the country. Wyatt earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Wake Forest University.
