Christiaan Highsmith

Christiaan Highsmith is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Northern District of California since April 2013, focusing on criminal cases within the Corporate and Securities Fraud Unit, as well as having prior experience in the Organized Crime Strike Force and Drug Enforcement Task Force. Highsmith has also contributed as an Intermittent Legal Advisor in Egypt, collaborating with local authorities on issues related to cybercrime, money laundering, and legal reforms. Previous experience includes positions as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of California and legal roles at Goodwin Procter LLP and the United States District Court for the District of Maine. Highsmith holds an A.B. in History from Harvard University and a JD from Boston University School of Law.
