Matthew Futch

Matthew Futch currently serves as a Senior Criminal Investigator at the U.S. Department of Justice since August 2016. Previously, Matthew worked as a Deputy Sheriff for the Orange County Sheriff's Office in Orlando, Florida, from August 2012 to August 2016, where responsibilities included enforcing law and order and implementing crime prevention strategies. Matthew's experience also includes serving as an instructor at Orange County Public Schools from August 2009 to April 2012, and as a soldier in the U.S. Army from December 2008 to July 2009, receiving an honorable discharge. Earlier in career, Matthew was a clerk for the Florida House of Representatives from January 2007 to May 2009, where duties involved presenting bills and facilitating votes. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Florida State University and a Law Enforcement Certificate from Valencia College, obtained in 2012.
