Zachary Dietert serves as the Assistant Director and Trial Attorney in the Consumer Protection Branch at the U.S. Department of Justice since February 2020. Prior to this role, Zachary worked as an Associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP from September 2015 to January 2020 and again from September 2010 to August 2013. Additionally, Zachary held the position of Madison Fellow at Americans United for Separation of Church and State from August 2013 to September 2015. Zachary earned a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School in 2010 and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Baylor University in 2007.
