Al Diovanni

AL DIOVANNI is a highly experienced Senior Programmer/Analyst with a substantial background in mainframe applications programming and modernization. Currently serving at the U.S. Department of the Treasury since October 2024, AL specializes in COBOL, ASSEMBLER LANGUAGE, CICS, and DB2, among other technologies. Previous roles include positions at RSYSTEMS, where AL contributed to Project Marble and an IDMS to DB2 conversion, as well as at Infosys, where AL focused on mainframe modernization for clients like AMTRAK and VERIZON BUSINESS. Additional experience includes significant contributions to billing systems at Pershing and programming for the TAX Department at New York Life Insurance Company. AL holds a BS in Computer Science/Math from St. John's University and a BS in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
