Anne Peacock

Anne Peacock, PhD, currently serves as the Deputy Assistant Director of the OFAC Policy Division at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, a position held since September 2023. Prior roles include Senior Advisor at the Office of Foreign Assets Control from November 2022 to September 2023 and Training and Strategic Operations Coordinator from November 2021 to November 2022. Anne's extensive experience in the U.S. Department of State spanned nearly a decade, with responsibilities as a Policy Advisor focusing on the Global Counterterrorism Forum and regional matters in Africa and the Middle East, as well as roles as a Foreign Affairs Officer, Special Assistant, and Program Analyst. In academia, Anne contributed as a Lecturer in the International Relations Department at ITESM and served as Associate Director for the International Undergraduate Program at ITESM Campus Guadalajara. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Law and an MA in Human Rights from the University of Essex, along with a BA in Government and Computer Science from Franklin & Marshall College.
