Lida Fitts

Lida Fitts currently serves as the Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Investment, Energy & Infrastructure at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where responsibilities include leading efforts to enhance private sector investment in emerging market energy and infrastructure, focusing on innovative financing and developing bankable projects. Prior experience includes roles as Regional Director for sub-Saharan Africa at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, where early-stage infrastructure project preparation in clean energy financing was a priority. Additional positions include Director of Energy and Environment at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, International Trade Program Manager at the International Executive Service Corps, and consulting roles during tenure with the Peace Corps in Benin. Lida Fitts holds educational credentials from Davidson College and Indian Springs School.
