Peter Gerges

Peter Gerges is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive experience in various accounting and finance roles. Currently, Peter serves as a CPA at the U.S. Department of the Treasury since September 2021. Prior to this position, Peter worked as an Internal Audit Consultant at Verizon for a brief period in mid-2021, and previously held a Senior Associate position in Accounting Advisory Services at KPMG US. At CohnReznick LLP, from October 2017 to March 2021, Peter excelled as a Senior Assurance Associate, managing multiple engagements and conducting detailed business process assessments while also resolving audit issues as an Experience Assurance Associate. Peter began the professional journey at Champion Auto Sales Inc. and United Teletech Financial Federal Credit Union in various finance and client service roles. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Rutgers Business School and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Business Administration from Brookdale Community College.
