Anthony Serio

Anthony Serio is an experienced payments professional currently serving as an FPC Member at the U.S. Faster Payments Council and as the Founder & CEO of Serio Payments Consulting. Previously held significant roles include Interim Chief Risk Officer and Special Advisor to the CEO at Sphere Labs, and Interim Chief Payments Officer at ARB Interactive. As Head of Operations at Sila, Anthony led compliance-onboarding and payment operations, while overseeing all payments and banking products. With a strong background at Silicon Valley Bank, Anthony contributed as a subject matter expert in FX Business and led the creation of the Product Risk Controls Catalog. Additionally, Anthony held a leadership position at East West Bank, managing foreign exchange operations. Anthony's foundational experience includes serving in the U.S. Navy and earning a BA in History and East Asian Studies from Brandeis University.
