Marilyn Specht

Marilyn Specht is an experienced sustainability professional currently serving as VP of Sustainability and Principal of the US Sustainability Practice at Introba since September 2015. With a robust background in sustainability consulting, Marilyn held various leadership roles at Introba, including Associate Principal and Team Lead. Marilyn is also actively involved with the U.S. Green Building Council as a member of the Environmental Quality Technical Advisory Group since December 2023 and as a former Chair of the Location and Planning Technical Advisory Group. In addition, Marilyn is a member of the Materials Health Technical Advisory Group at the International Living Future Institute since August 2023. Prior to these roles, Marilyn worked at DES Architects + Engineers as Green Building Manager and gained experience at Save the Bay, Gold Coast Eagle Distributors, and other organizations. Educational credentials include a B.A. in Environmental Studies from New College of Florida, a Certificate in Leading Through Personal Excellence from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and a Certificate in Healthier Materials and Sustainable Buildings from Parsons School of Design.
