Taryn Holowka Hristova

Senior Vice President, Marketing, Communications & Advocacy at USGBC/GBCI/Arc

Taryn Holowka Hristova is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in marketing, communications, and advocacy, primarily with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) since July 2002, where Taryn currently serves as Senior Vice President. In this role, Taryn leads initiatives for brand perception, product marketing, market research, and digital campaigns, acting as the organization's spokesperson. Previous positions at USGBC include Vice President of Marketing & Communications, Director of Marketing & Communications, Manager of Marketing & Communications, and Communications & Fund Development Coordinator. Taryn has additionally contributed to GBCI Canada as a board member, and held roles at the National Environmental Policy Institute and the Polyisocyanurate Insulation Manufacturers Association. Taryn holds a Master of Arts in Social & Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from SUNY Geneseo.
